EBIR Practice questions – Clinical case scenarios

Description

EBIR Practice questions – Clinical case scenarios provide a series of practice questions designed to help candidates prepare for the clinical case scenario section of the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) examination.

Based on questions previously used in the EBIR examination, the practice cases familiarize candidates with the format, structure, navigation, and clinical reasoning required in this part of the exam. Each case consists of a series of sequential questions that follow the progression of a clinical scenario, with additional information revealed as the case develops.

The practice questions cover key areas of the European Curriculum and Syllabus for Interventional Radiology and include different question formats used in the EBIR examination. Each case is timed, allowing candidates to practise clinical decision-making under conditions similar to those of the actual examination.

Learning objectives

After completing the practice questions, participants should be able to:

  • Become familiar with the format, structure, and navigation of the EBIR clinical case scenario examination using real EBIR examination cases
  • Practise answering different question formats, including single best answer and multiple best answer
  • Practise completing cases under conditions similar to the actual examination, including comparable question length, complexity, and timing
  • Gain confidence in completing sequential case-based questions under examination conditions

Further information

These practice questions are intended for radiology trainees and practising interventional radiologists preparing for the EBIR examination. They provide an opportunity to practise the clinical case scenario component of the EBIR examination in a simulated environment.

Please note that these practice questions are not CME accredited and are intended solely as a preparation resource. While the question formats and workflow are designed to resemble the EBIR examination, the software interface differs from that used during the official examination.

For more information about the EBIR examination, including eligibility requirements, examination structure, and upcoming examination dates, please visit the official EBIR website: https://www.cirse.org/education/ebir/

The enrolment period of this module is linked to the validity of the All-Access Pass.
