The Executive Committee prepares and facilitates the work of and provides guidance and direction to the Executive Board and performs such tasks and duties as are assigned to it by the Executive Board. It has the power to establish standing committees, subcommittees, and task forces and to issue regulations governing their duties, responsibilities and procedures.

The Executive Board is comprised of the president, the past president, the vice president, and the treasurer. The Executive Board conducts the business of the Society and is responsible for decisions on all matters that are not expressly assigned to any other organ of the society. The Executive Board represents the society in its dealings with third parties.
