How to contribute to the CIRSE Library

Are you an interventional radiologist interested in contributing educational content to the CIRSE Library?

We welcome submissions from IRs who are passionate about sharing their knowledge, clinical experience, and expertise with colleagues around the world.

Contributing to the CIRSE Library is an excellent opportunity to increase your visibility within the international IR community while supporting education and knowledge exchange. You can propose a topic to the Online Education Committee that you believe deserves greater attention, present a novel technique, or showcase one of your recently published studies or procedures, sharing practical insights and tips that will benefit your peers.

To maximize its reach, your contribution will be featured on the CIRSE Library homepage for one month, remain available on the platform for five years, and be promoted through CIRSE communication channels, including the CIRSE Library LinkedIn page.

You can contribute by creating procedural videos, Highlights in IR videos, and/or topic packages.

Procedural videos

Procedural videos in the CIRSE Library showcase recorded interventions featuring interesting and educational cases. Each video guides viewers through the procedure step by step, covering patient assessment and preparation, equipment selection, procedural techniques, and the intervention itself, before concluding with the clinical outcome, patient follow-up, and key take-home messages.

Highlights in IR

The Highlights in IR section of the CIRSE Library features concise educational videos presenting interesting clinical cases, innovative techniques, and interventional procedures. These videos are designed to provide practical, high-quality learning opportunities for the global IR community.

Topic package

CIRSE’s curated topic packages consists of a collection of educational material within focused clinical contexts, containing a description of the topic, selected presentations from CIRSE events, relevant literature, clinical guidelines and any relevant CIRSE Academy courses. Each package offers expert insights across a wide range of topics, from vascular and oncological interventions to emerging techniques.
