Why join the writing team?

Question-writing training

The EBIR provides training in question-writing for both the general clinical practice examination section (A-type questions) and the clinical case scenario examination section (F-type questions) of the EBIR exam. Trainings provide contributors with instruction in assessment theory and the knowledge to produce top-quality questions.

Both A- and F-type question writing courses are currently offered onsite at the CIRSE annual congress. Additionally, the A-type question writing course is also offered online through a webinar.

To receive training in F-type question writing, contributors must first complete A-type question writing training.

Courses are for EBIR holders only and are supported by the EBIR educationalist and expert IRs. EBIR holders commit to confidentiality before they start training.

How to apply

EBIR holders are regularly invited via email to take part in the onsite courses and webinars. You are also welcome to contact us via email at [email protected] to register your interest or to ask any questions.
