Meet the Expert Hands-on Workshops

Abbott Vascular has developed an interactive programme for CIRSE 2017. During peer-to-peer expert sessions the attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about Abbott Vascular’s solutions in the vascular and embolisation fields.

The programme will include hands-on stations where the attendees will be able to practice under the guidance of expert interventionalists.

Areas that will be covered include:

Guidewires: technical workshops
The guidewires workshops will provide attendees the opportunity to learn from physician experts how the guidewires are designed, usage and selection strategies and will be able to try the latest generation guidewires during this hands-on session.

Vascular plugs: advancing the standard of care in peripheral embolisation with Abbott
Vascular plugs are designed to provide optimal embolisation through single device solution, full cross-sectional vessel coverage and controlled, precise deployment. Join these sessions to learn more about the different designs, clinical indications and how to do a safe and effective placement using Abbott Vascular’s simulators.

Vessel closure: close with confidence
Learn from experts how to close with confidence using Abbott’s vessel closure technologies. During this technical workshop the attendees will have the opportunity to learn from experts their experiences with percutaneous access and closure, and to practice with vessel closure wet models.

To learn more about Abbott Vascular’s Learning Centre programme, please contact your Abbott Vascular representative or visit the booth.
