CIRSE invites all eligible members who wish to run for office to apply for one of the following positions:
Executive Board
- Vice President
- Treasurer
The deadline for submitting applications is Monday, February 19, 2024. Any submission beyond that deadline will not be considered.
Executive Committee
- Scientific Programme Deputy Chairperson
- Chairperson of the Membership Committee
- Chairperson of the Standards of Practice Committee
- Chairperson of the Research Committee
Standing Committees
- Member of the Membership Committee
- Member of the Standards of Practice Committee
- Member of the Research Committee
The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday, March 21, 2024. Any submission beyond that deadline will not be considered. The names of the candidates will be submitted to the members for election by electronic voting and will be announced by Monday, June 17, 2024 at the latest.
All members entitled to hold office are free to apply for the election to become a member of a standing committee, subject to the requirements laid down in the articles of association and rules of procedure as set by the executive committee. Only fellows are eligible for executive board and executive committee positions. Candidates can apply for only one position at a time (article 15.3).
The electronic voting period has been set for June 17 – 28, 2024. All elective members in good standing will be entitled to vote.
The term of office of the elected members of the executive committee and the standing committees will begin at the end of the CIRSE General Assembly on September 16, 2024 and last until the general assembly at CIRSE 2026.

- Rules of procedure for the election of officers to the executive board | executive committee | standing committees outlining further details regarding the elections and eligibility criteria
- Eligibility requirements for members of the CIRSE Executive Board and the CIRSE Executive Committee to avoid possible conflicts of interest for the members of the executive committee and the executive board
- Acknowledgement of the eligibility criteria form which needs to be signed for all executive board and executive committee positions
