Status of interventional radiology training in Europe
Interventional radiology (IR) is transforming medicine through minimally invasive image-guided therapies. Following the rapid growth of the specialty and the huge demand for more interventional radiologists (IRs) in the recent years, the ETF decided to map the training pathways throughout Europe in order to identify ways for further improvement and development of the various aspects ofhttps://www.cirse.org/society/trainees/ IR training.
The information available on this page is based on the feedback from CIRSE’s European Trainee Forum (ETF) subcommittee members regarding training pathways in their countries of residence.
The collected data and detailed report was published in the ETF brochure on the status of vascular and interventional radiology training in Europe. The brochure provides an enlightening look at how different IR training remains throughout Europe.
