Endovascular treatment of acute limb ischaemia, Maribor/SI, May 7-8, 2026

The ESIR 2026 course on endovascular treatment of acute limb ischaemia offers a focused and highly practical training experience on modern endovascular approaches for managing acute lower limb ischaemia.

Limited to 30 participants, the course combines comprehensive lectures with extensive hands-on sessions on thrombectomy techniques, catheter-directed therapy, and hybrid treatment approaches. Participants will gain practical insights through real case discussions, step-by-step video reviews, and interactive troubleshooting sessions.

Led by a distinguished international faculty, this course provides valuable learning for managing complex cases of acute limb ischaemia. It is designed for interventional radiologists who have completed their radiology training and are looking to deepen their skills in managing vascular emergencies using endovascular techniques.

Check out the preliminary programme below to explore what you can learn and which experts will be leading the sessions. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis – don’t miss your chance to be part of this unique ESIR training.

Who should attend?

This course is designed for interventional radiologists who have completed their radiology training and wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in the endovascular management of acute limb ischaemia.

This course is relevant for clinicians seeking to enhance decision-making in acute and complex vascular emergencies. Vascular surgeons are also welcome to participate through team registration, attending together with an interventional radiologist from the same hospital under the registration type “Team fee.”
