I am pleased to announce that the next International Conference on Complications in Interventional Radiology (ICCIR) will take place from May 20-22, 2027 in Poertschach, Austria.
As many of you already know, ICCIR is a unique forum dedicated to the open and constructive discussion of procedural complications in interventional radiology. In a discreet and highly professional setting, practitioners from around the world come together to critically reflect on cases that did not go according to plan, share insights, and explore practical strategies for complications prevention and management. By addressing challenges transparently, the congress fosters continuous improvement in patient care and clinical outcomes.
ICCIR’s defining feature are its carefully selected case reports offering firsthand experience and clinical expertise. Participants benefit from exposure to a broad spectrum of complications and from in-depth discussions with distinguished faculty focused on practical solutions and lessons learned.
The congress is particularly valued for its interactive format and intimate atmosphere. Attendance is limited to 250 participants, ensuring meaningful dialogue and direct exchange among colleagues.
