Intervention IQ - Your Portal to Modern Medicine

Intervention IQ was a 5-year CIRSE-sponsored campaign designed to raise awareness of and provide accurate information on minimally invasive image-guided therapies (interventional radiology, or IR).

A lack of awareness is still one of the main obstacles facing IR, which can reduce the need for invasive procedures. To help overcome this lack of awareness, IQ was established as a high-quality channel of communication to key decision makers in healthcare.

From 2009-2014, the project provided a regular flow of information showing the successes and potential of IR as a promising alternative or adjunct to open surgery. By reaching other medical specialists, hospital managers and administrators, insurance companies and healthcare politicians, IQ helped to facilitate patient access to gentle, minimally invasive solutions.
