CIRSE invites all eligible members who wish to run for office to apply for one of the following positions:
Executive Board:
- Vice President
- Treasurer
The deadline for submitting applications is Monday, February 23, 2026. Any submission beyond that deadline will not be considered.
Executive Committee:
- Chairperson of the Membership Committee
- Deputy Chairperson of the CIRSE Annual Congress Scientific Programme Committee
Standing Committees:
- Deputy Chairperson of the Research Committee*
- Deputy Chairperson of the Standards and Guidelines Committee*
- Member of the Research Committee
- Member of the Standards and Guidelines Committee
- Member of the Membership Committee
* Please note that the Deputy Chairperson of the Research Committee and the Standards and Guidelines Committee will automatically succeed as Chairpersons of the respective Standing Committees for the following two-year term of office and thereby also become members of the Executive Committee.
The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday, March 26, 2026. Any submission beyond that deadline will not be considered. The names of the candidates will be submitted to the Members for election by electronic voting and will be announced by Monday, June 1, 2026 at the latest.
All Members entitled to hold office are free to apply for the election to become a member of a Standing Committee, subject to the requirements laid down in the Articles of Association and Rules of Procedure as set by the Executive Committee. Only Fellows are eligible for Executive Board, Executive Committee, and Standing Committee Deputy Chairperson positions. Candidates can apply only for one position at a time (article 15.3).
The electronic voting period has been set for June 1 – 11, 2026. All Elective Members in good standing will be entitled to vote.
The term of office of the elected members of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committees will begin at the end of the CIRSE General Assembly on September 7, 2026 and last until the General Assembly at CIRSE 2028.

- Acknowledgement of the Eligibility Criteria Form which needs to be signed for all Executive Board, Executive Committee, and Standing Committee Deputy Chairperson positions
