IR management

As patient management remains of utmost importance for the future of IR, CIRSE 2021’s IR management track will provide essential insights into best practices and solutions to contemporary challenges in clinical work.

The track will look at several facets of this topic; the pre-launched materials in advance of the congress will feature ETF short talks aimed at trainees and students, and will also highlight AI, robotics and technological advances in IR. The live programme will feature a Women in IR session taking a closer look at the concept of flexible working, as well as several sessions on dealing with industry, collaborating with other specialties, and challenges IR faces now and in the future.

Robotic and stereotactic approaches in IR

We spoke to Prof. Lars Lönn about the advantages robotic and stereotactic approaches can bring to IR practice, when they could be more widely implemented, and what we can expect for future developments. Make sure to join the robotics session at the Summit!
