Abstract submission

The CIRSE annual meeting is the largest and most comprehensive forum for experts in image-guided minimally-invasive therapies. Make the most of the opportunity to showcase your scientific achievements and educational material by submitting an abstract to CIRSE 2022.

All accepted abstracts will be published in a special supplement of CVIR, the longest-running journal in the field of vascular and interventional radiology. An opportunity not to be missed!

In order to further support research in interventional radiology, the two new submission categories [email protected] clinical trials and trial design and methodology will once again be offered to provide a special platform for researchers to present their work to an international audience.

Poster Awards

The winners of the Poster Awards will be selected by the CIRSE Scientific Programme Committee.

All winners of poster awards will

  • receive an invitation to submit a manuscript to CVIR
  • be published on CIRSE’s social media
  • receive a certificate

In addition, the presenter of the poster receiving the Magna Cum Laude Award will

  • receive free registration for a CIRSE 2023 congress of their choice
  • be interviewed for the CIRSE newsletter IR News

Best Scientific Paper Award

The best scientific paper will be selected by CIRSE congress attendees. Its presenter will

  • receive free registration for a CIRSE 2023 congress of their choice
  • be invited to submit a manuscript to CVIR
  • be interviewed for the CIRSE newsletter IR News

Reports on research projects, studies, trials, etc.

Oral presentation or electronic poster. Submitters can indicate their preferred presentation format. The final decision whether an abstract is accepted for oral presentation or as an electronic poster lies with the Scientific Programme Committee.

Description

Reviews and teaches a topic by means of a literature review, pictorial essay, and/or case descriptions of a particular finding or procedure.

Description

Trial design and methodology
