ECIO - The European Conference on Interventional Oncology

Catering to the ever-increasing importance of interventional oncology within interventional radiology, CIRSE has been organising the annual European Conference on Interventional Oncology since 2008. ECIO is the world’s most comprehensive platform for IO education and knowledge exchange, welcoming over 1,450 delegates from all over the globe to cutting-edge conferences held throughout Europe.

Thanks to CIRSE’s Collaborating Against Cancer Initiatives, ECIO delegates are able to bring their non-radiologist colleagues at no extra cost, establishing ECIO as a truly multidisciplinary conference and a beacon for a modern and collaborative way of treating cancer patients.

After two years of hosting ECIO online, ECIO 2022 returned to an onsite format, reuniting more than 1,100 interventional radiologists and other oncology experts in Vienna. At the same, over 1,200 participants from around joined via the online congress platform.

ECIO 2023 will take place in Stockholm, Sweden from April 16-19. We look forward to seeing you there!
