Congress & Meetings
Since its first meeting in 1985, the CIRSE annual congress has become the leading European platform for interventionists. Today it features more than 250 hours of sessions, workshops and symposia. CIRSE offers its over 6,000 participants the ideal opportunity to increase their knowledge on image-guided minimally invasive procedures and to present their latest research findings.
Past congresses have taken place in such cities as Copenhagen, Lisbon and Valencia, the community’s interest in the congress increasing strongly every year, from 300 attendees in 1993 to more than 6,000 in 2012. The congress format has also seen a strong development over the years, evolving into an interactive programme featuring the entire range of modern conference features.
